Dripping Springs 2021 Empty Bowls Project
The Empty Bowls Project in Dripping Springs is a family-fun event where the community comes together to share a wonderful meal, live music, fellowship, and most importantly, support our neighbors in need. More than 30 restaurants from Dripping Springs and Austin prepare and donate dozens of soups that are each distinct and delicious.
For the past 23 years, the Empty Bowls Project has brought together chefs, potters, and musicians to host an event brimming with great food, fellowship and fun and in support of Helping Hands' mission. SERVPRO of San Marcos/New Braunfels is proud to be one of this year’s sponsors.
Helping Hands is a 100% volunteer, equal opportunity organization focused on one goal: to provide the community of Dripping Springs, Texas with a framework of compassionate care. In addition to supporting Helping Hands, guests select the perfect bowl to take home. Over 1000 beautiful and unique hand-thrown bowls are created by amazing artisans.
Due to the current pandemic situation happening around our area, this year's Empty Bowls Project will be a "Grab & Go" event. While we will not be seated together in an enclosed room, patrons will still be able to select their very special handmade bowls and delicious soups in To-Go containers in an open-air room. The fabulous musicians will be playing while patrons enjoy choosing bowls and soups.
